Workshops topics can be just about anything that interests you that has some sort of relation to paganism or the pagan lifestyle (this can include anything about green living, discussion groups about topics that affect pagans, practical hands-on sessions demonstrating a technique or craft, or even just guided meditation).  We recognize that ‘paganism’ is an incredibly broad category that encompasses a diverse range of interests and lifestyles so we’re pretty flexible in terms of what workshop topics are allowed.

With that being said there are some things to avoid such as topics that disparage or discriminate against any particular groups, anything overtly sexual (ppd is a family event), hate speech, or political agitprop.  Also, workshops are free for attendees, so anything that requires material goods must be supplied at no charge by the workshop facilitator.  If the main goal of your workshop is to promote a particular product then you’ll need to become a vendor.

As we get closer to the event, we’ll list all our workshops along with information about their facilitators.  There is no fee for hosting a workshop, and you don’t have to be a vendor in order to present a workshop.  Due to the limited number of available workshop timeslots, they will be given out on a first-come-first-served basis.  Please download/print and return the registration form to:

2010 Workshops:

Children’s Corner – Cadea and her crew from the temple of the sacred path will be hosting our children’s corner again this year.  There will be fun games, activities, art supplies, and crafts to make sure the little ones have something to do throughout the day.

Bottlecap Necklace – also for the children, Michelle will be showing the kids how to create bottlecap necklaces.

Healing Methods – Dru Ann will be talking about different spiritual healing methods and how to integrate them into our daily practice.  Learn about ‘tapping’, sonic therapy with bowls and tuning forks, theta healing, positive affirmations, and scripting.

Teachings of the Santeria Gods – Ochani Lele will be reading from and discussing his new book.

Faerie Card Oracle – Lady Donna Tara Lee will be discussing the Faerie cards, and using them as an oracle gain insight and information into everyday situations.

The Sacredness of Music – Brian will go over how music can be used as a ritual tool,  how music can be more then just entertainment, how it speaks to ones inner being and soul. He will go over briefly some modalities, keys and how the can be used to raise energy and more
