Volusia Pagan Pride is committed to the four central tenets of the Pagan Pride Project:
Education – The principle of Education moves us to secure the right to practice our faith openly and freely by maintaining a program of public awareness. We strive to provide accurate information about our practices – what we do, and, just as importantly, what we don’t do, and to combat the spread of misinformation and ignorance.
Activism – The principle of Activism encourages us to honorably act upon our convictions and to willingly sacrifice for our beliefs. It reminds us that we are empowered to live responsibly according to the mandates of our conscience without fear of discrimination or prejudice.
Charity – Understanding that our actions have direct and immediate impact, the principle of Charity drives us to offer compassion to those in need and helps us realize that by sharing our abundance with others we invite the universe to share its abundance with us.
Community – The principle of Community guides us to extend the hands of fellowship for mutual support and encouragement. By maintaining communal relationships we display strength through numbers and reduce the chance of being marginalized.
The Volusia Pagan Pride Day committee is made of caring individuals from all over FL who have come together to support the Pagan Pride Project within the Volusia county area:
Dru Ann – Local Coordinator from New Smyrna Beach
Kandee – Assistant Coordinator from New Smyrna Beach
Justin – Assistant Coordinator from Deltona
The best way to contact us privately is to send a message to info@volusiapaganpride.com – this will forward your message to everyone on staff, but not to the vppd community. If you have a community wide announcement or question, then join the yahoo group mailing list to send to everyone at once -![]()
